Sarasota Bay Rotary Club serves the needs of our community with innovative and impactful projects. We call ourselves: "The Friendliest Club in the World". You can find out for yourself by joining us for a meeting.

Membership is by invitation. Should you want to know more about Rotary and our club, you are welcome to visit one of our meetings and see if it is something you might like. Just reach out and let us know you might have an interest. If you are a current Rotary member looking for a new club or looking for a make-up meeting while in the area, please contact us for information.

• Riverview High School E2 International Baccalaureate Program  A unique innovative scholarship program that sets our Rotary Club apart. 

• The International Rotary HomeStay program brings Rotary leadership from around the world to Sarasota each January. You might be interested in Hosting or just meeting some of them.

•  Children First Snow Day Each year in January or February we deliver 2 tons of snow to a Children First location. Several volunteers go to show the kids how to make snowballs. The Staff and Parents love the fun too. Image snow in Florida! We think out of the box to bring happiness to kids!

• Children First Holiday Toys & Clothing (a Headstart program) We are providing the kids (ages 6 months to 5 years old) gifts so will have something under the tree. We provide an Amazon Link and you order for direct shipment to the school. This allows you to donate any amount to a needy family from $10 up. Doing good directly to the recipient with no middleman.

• MicroForests are a great way to get your hands dirty. Our MicroForest planting days give you a hands-on chance to plant bushes and small trees that will flourish in Florida helping the environment in many ways—a light-duty way to spend part of a morning with like-minded individuals. These projects involve other Sarasota-based organizations widening our impact.

• Panera Bread Buddies Each week we pick up unused bread from a local Panera and deliver it the next morning to a local agency that serves the needy. We often deliver to Children First and they see that the parents get some nutritious bread and goodies to take home.
